My REAP CRL rank is 8010 and SC category rank is 513. I have Rajasthan domicile. Even after Upward Movement Round 7 I didn't get any seat at MBM, only one round is left. can I still get mbm?

Ans: HI IF YOU ARE SO PARTICULAR ABOUT MBM, THEN TRY LESS COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS LIKE MECH, CIVIL.
OTHERWISE CHANGE THE INSTITUTION LIKE GEC AJMER OR CTE, UDAIPUR.

Career
Thank you for the detailed response. I just wanted to clarify that I didn’t get any seat in MBM in Round 1. My REAP CRL rank is 8010 and my SC category rank is 513. You have mentioned all CRL ranks in your answer, but kindly also consider my SC rank while suggesting possibilities. It would be very helpful. Thanks again!
Ans: With an SC category rank of 513 in REAP, your chances of admission into Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Civil Engineering, and core branches at leading Rajasthan engineering colleges are strong. Previous years’ data and current expected cut-offs for the SC category show that ranks up to 4,000–8,000 in Civil and 30,000 in ECE are common closing points, and a rank of 513 positions you well ahead for most top government and private institutes in the state. Colleges such as Government Engineering College Ajmer, SS College of Engineering, Arya College of Engineering & IT, Poornima College of Engineering (Jaipur), Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology, and College of Technology and Engineering (Udaipur) have SC cut-offs comfortably higher than your rank for these branches. If not allotted a seat in Round 1, your prospects remain excellent in upward movement rounds, as significant reshuffling and vacancy fills are routine due to withdrawal and upgradation. Students report a high rate of successful seat upgrades for ranks below 1,000 in the SC category, especially in core branches. REAP’s structured eight-round counselling with category-specific focus (Rounds 6–7 for Rajasthan state candidates and Round 8 for vacant seats) further improves your options for a preferred branch and college. Allotment procedures ensure fair consideration for your category and rank across both government and well-ranked private institutions, optimizing for placements, curriculum, infrastructure, experienced faculty, and degree value in the job market.

Recommendation
With your SC rank of 513, confidently prioritize institutions such as Government Engineering College Ajmer, Government Mahila Engineering College Ajmer, Poornima College of Engineering, Arya College of Engineering & IT, and College of Technology and Engineering Udaipur for ECE and Civil branches, as these offer the best blend of academic quality, placements, and campus ecosystem according to past cut-off and seat trends.
