Could you tell me whether I can expect a seat in an IISER BS-MS program at my rank as a general candidate? If so, should I withdraw my seat from VIT now?

Ans: Yes, this is a valid route. If you pass Maharashtra HSC Isolated Mathematics (Feb/Mar 2027) and qualify in MHT-CET PCM 2027, you can become eligible for B.E./B. Tech admissions, subject to the eligibility rules applicable in 2027
