I have btech biotech. background and currently working as a Quality Assurance professional in a medical device manufacturing company. I wanted to ask learning python, ai would be useful for me in my career?

Learning is a continuous process. So need not worry about updating your knowledge. It will boost your knowledge and you can employ some of the techniques or principles in our day to day like. Also sometimes, it will be added advantages for employability when compared to others.

Learning Python and AI will boost your career. Since you are from a medical device background that you are from most important dept is QA, you surely can pursue. But, most probably it will be through online mode (I guess), if so, you need to think before joining the course.
Is that course from a genuine institute or a name-sake they are issuing the certificate? If it's genuine, surely you can join, but you still need to put in efforts to learn at least 5-10 hours/week.
You have to decide.
