Career

Attempted neet twice ended up getting 200 only it's my 3rd drop. Should I go for agriculture or biotechnology or private bds. It's too late already been 3yrs I'm thinking to opt for BBA CAT MBA . Please guide me I really want to earn a decent money in 5 6 yrs

I think you may not have focused on the NEET exam. Before I share my suggestions, I would like to know your HSC marks.

Instead of pursuing biotech, you could consider opting for a BSc in Agriculture. If you excel in biology, you might even want to consider BDS.

Rather than focusing solely on money, I recommend learning a skill that can lead to a decent income. For example, you could earn a simple degree in chemistry and then move into pharmaceutical marketing. This path could offer you a salary range of 4-6 LPA, and after gaining a few years of experience, you can advance further and find success.

I've noticed that you shared your percentage of marks instead of your actual score, which is what I wanted to know. It's important for me to understand your results before making any comments. Regardless, it seems like you performed well in the HSC.

I suggest considering options other than BBA, as immediate job opportunities in that field may be limited. You might want to look into Agriculture or BDS instead. Alternatively, pursuing a BNYS degree could also be a good choice. This year, many courses in allied health sciences have been added to NEET, so you can opt for either BDS or BNYS as I mentioned earlier. However, to gain admission into BDS, you will need to take the NEET exam. Ultimately, the decision is yours.

Sir This is my third attempt . I scored 550 in neet 2024. I gave my 100 percent this time but only managed to score this much .I can't afford one more drop . If I didn't get a govt mbbs seat it , then what are the other best options if you could suggest . Should I go for Veterinary or BSc Nursing. Or any other high scope course you could recommend.

Ans: Hi, Yes. The following courses are also available apart from veterinary: BAMS, BSMS.
Nursing is a good option as NEET is not required. The following courses are available without NEET: BNYS, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

I have 25k rank in AEEE and home state quota in Kerala, Can i get admission for Ai and data science

Ans: With AEEE rank around 25,000 + Kerala home-state quota, AI & Data Science at Amritapuri is difficult, because recent trend data shows AID closing much earlier than 25k, even for home-state slabs. Amrita confirms B.Tech admission is through AEEE/JEE + CSAP counselling.

Still, fill choices broadly: AI & Data Science, CSE-AI, Cyber Security, ECE, ELC, and EEE at Amritapuri, plus Amaravati/Faridabad/Nagercoil/Haridwar if acceptable. Have the backups of KEAM Kerala counselling, private Kerala/Tamil Nadu colleges, and Amrita lower-demand branches. The AI/Data Science chance improves only if vacancy/fee slab extends significantly. Ans: Best next steps are keep BITSAT Phase-2 as highest priority. At 196, BITS CSE/ECE is difficult, but 300+ can open ECE/EEE and maybe better options (scoring 300+ from 160 will be highly challenging; still, you must try). With JEE 94.01 percentile, top NIT/IIIT CSE is unlikely, but try JoSAA/CSAB for lower IIIT/GFTI branches. Your VITEEE 12,774 gives good chances for VIT Chennai/AP/Bhopal CSE-related and possible non-core options at Vellore. Amrita through JEE is worth trying through CSAP, as Amrita accepts AEEE/JEE scores. SASTRA is strong because 991 Intermediate marks help, since admission uses JEE + Class 12 weightage. Prefer: BITS if 300+ > VIT/Amrita CSE > SASTRA CSE/ECE > TG EAPCET options. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!

Ans: Abhinay, With VITEEE rank 60,625, ECE at VIT-AP Category 1 is unlikely. Recent trend sources indicate VIT-AP ECE Category 1 may close around 50,000, while higher categories may extend further. Still, you must try. Better preference order: ECE Category 2/3 > ECE VLSI/Embedded > Electronics & Computer Engineering > EEE > Mechanical/Robotics. Ans: With VITEEE rank 70,210, CSE core is unlikely at Vellore/Chennai, but VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal CSE/CSE specialisation may be possible, mostly in higher fee categories, likely Category 3–5 depending on vacancy. With JEE Main CRL 4,27,736, OBC female, Rajasthan, NIT/IIIT/GFTI CSE chances through JoSAA are almost nil. You can try CSAB Special Round, but expect only very low-demand GFTI branches, if any. Have 4-5 other reputed private colleges as backups including REAP Rajasthan counselling, RTU/Kota-affiliated private colleges, JECRC, Poornima, SKIT, Manipal Jaipur, and Amity Jaipur. Ans: Rashmi Madam, With VITEEE rank 57,194, ECE at VIT Vellore is difficult and should be treated as low probability. ECE at VIT Chennai is also not easy but may have a small chance in higher fee categories if seats remain during her counselling phase. VIT counselling is rank-, choice-, category- and seat-availability based; rank 45,001–70,000 fall in Phase 3 choice filling. Best preference order: Chennai ECE > Vellore ECE > Chennai EEE/ECM/Mechatronics > Vellore EEE > VIT-AP/Bhopal ECE/CSE-related. Keep backup options (4-5 other reputed private colleges) ready because ECE demand is usually high. All the Best for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future!

Sir, my son has secured 12300+ rank in SRM JEEE 2026 and 70000+ rank in VITEEE. Is there possibility of getting CSE core or CSE AI/ ML in SRM KTR campus... Also pls share that what options I can get in VIT Chennai on this rank ( VIT Vellore seems very tough to get on this rank)...What branch should I fill as preference in VIT Chennai... I can get CSE core in VIT AP but not willing to join there... So should I prefer KTR campus with CS or VIT Chennai with branch other than CS ( as I will not get CSE there)...thanks in advance.

Ans: Amit Sir, at SRMJEEE, 12,300+ SRM KTR CSE core is doubtful, but CSE-AI/ML, Data Science, Cloud, Big Data, CSBS, or AI may be possible depending on vacancy/phase. SRM officially offers these KTR CS options.

At VITEEE 70,000+, VIT Chennai CSE/ECE are unlikely. You can fill EEE, Mechanical, Mechatronics/Robotics, Civil, Fashion/Design-related tech options if available in higher categories. Vellore is tougher.

My preference: SRM KTR CS-related branch > VIT Chennai non-CS > VIT-AP CSE, only if there is no objection. Backups you can have are SRM Ramapuram/Vadapalani CS and 4-5 other reputed private colleges in and around your State. All the Best for Your Son's Prosperous Future!
