What are the option for good private college for B.tech + MBA integrated programme with good placement record?
Ans: As of not there is no course for BTech + MBA with good placement record. The best wat to check for placements in an integrated college is to look for the placements in their MBA course. But most of the top MBA colleges do not have a Engg course

I am a PCMB student and was also a NEET aspirant. Back in school days I used to primarily focus on my biology than maths but would still pass my school test and exam by studying maths one night before. After school I joined a coaching in my city and prepared for NEET 2024. I scored 615 but couldn't score a decent rank. I tried again for it and in NEET 2025 my score is 501 and my rank is around 50k. But still chances of getting any government medical college even under state quota are less.
I'm thinking of doing Btech in biotechnology. Reason for this is that I want to pursue MBA after graduation. And I have heard that doing MBA with an engineering background is beneficial. I thought of doing B.Sc biotech but personally I belive B.Tech is a better option cause I would get a tech degree and would also be able to study or work in biology related field and might have have an extra edge than most of the crowd. I also gave JEE. I didn't attempt any question from math section cause it's been 2 years since highschool but I still managed a rank of 98k. I am also ready for double masters after btech. With M.Tech in biotech or bioinformatics and then MBA. Please give me an insight over my career choice
Ans: There is no advantage of doing Engg over BSc if you are planning to do MBA post your degree. So pick up BTech or BSc based on your interest or how good the college is. Also if you plan to do MBA there is not use of doing MTech. Can do MBA after your graduation.

Ans: Starting a career looks a tall order at this age especially since you have 10 year gap. But can try and do short term course in the area you want to pursue your career. But would recommend to talk to placement agency or any company specializing in that area to see if they would be willing to take you post the course.

Sir , I'm getting admission for newton school of technology (rishihood university) for btech and in iim jammu and iim Bodhgaya for integrated program for mba through jipmat ( five years program) pr can go for shiv nadar university, noida.
So , what should I do?
Ans: If you are not too inclined towards Engg then Integrated course at IIM would be a preferred option. There you have an option of writing entrance exam after 3 years to get into better MBA college or continue with doing MBA in that college without writing entrance exam.

My Son Mohit. He has completed his graduation from symbiosis. Bcom in accounting and finance parallelly he completely ACCA and now he is certified ACCA professional. He is been working for last 4 years but there is not much growth in the career due to limited growth in Bahrain country. He is looking forward for master courses which can enhance his skills to career breakthrough and simultaneously for job. Kindly advise. He is member of Toastmasters Club and his speaking and communication skills are well-known.
Ans: One option would be to try for executive mba course which is 1 year course for which he will have to write GMAT. Other options could be to do professional courses like DFA or FRM if he wants to build a career in Finance. Third option would be to do short term courses that would enhance your skill set in your current job. Considering what you have written, first option looks more appropriate.

Ans: Dont do BTech+MTech as MTech degree is not a good option unless you are sure you want to continue in technical line which is difficult to decide now. Even if you want to continue then can look at writing GATE and getting into a better college for MTech after graduation. For BTech choose the field you want if you have any specific preference. If you do not have interest in any specific field then go as per ranking of the college. Take up whichever college has better ranking.

Dear Sir, My daughter has completed BSc(Psychology - 3 yrs) From Christ University. She has got admission in MSc (Psychology)- 2yrs from Christ Univ but she has lately shown less interest in MSc (Clinical Psychology) as few univ in india are offering Mphil in Clinical Psychology (I understand that its a must for starting of their carrer).
She has shown interst in MBA and she has got admission in MBA (Travel & Tourism) from Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management - Noida Branch (IITTM- Noida).
My Questions are:
1. Is this the right decision. (To leave MSc)
2. Does MBA in Travel and Tourism worth doing.
3. Is there any job prospects in this field (Tourism industry Lacks in India).
4. Does MBA from IITTM-Noida hold any value.
5. I have heard that instead of doing MBA in Tourism, a 6 months certificate course will be worth. Is this true.
My daughter seems confused and I am more Confused than her.
Please advise which patch to choose.

Ans: Doing MBA is a good option if she is not interested in MSc, but dont think IITTM could be a good choice as it will be a specialized course and restrict her into that industry. First check the job, career and growth prospect in Travel and Tourism Management before taking up the college. Ans: Both are quite different areas. Let him go to area which he is interested in. If he is not sure, then BITS as a college is preferred. MTech does not have any great advantage over BTech, unless you want to get into teaching field.

Ans: As far as I know KIIT Bhubaneshwar is a better ranked college as compared to Bhartiya Vidyapeeth. So if you do not have an inkling towards Mech Engg, can choose KIIT. But do your research on placements in both college before you take admission.

Ans: It is advisable to do MBA from colleges that provide placements. Check the placement report in the college you plan to do an MBA in. The then can take a call regarding taking admission. Getting a good job off campus is not easy.

Hello sir , I have 4.2 year work ex as a data engineer (27 F, general category). I have got bits pilani mba in business analytics (pilani campus) , my cat didn't go well. I have talked to few students there although intake is really less (67) but high work ex people do suffer there. And i m in mainstream role as a data engineer there i don't know what kind of roles i will be getting as this is an engineering college so management students are not treated good. It is good for freshers or with less experienced people actually, i don't know if this is the scenario with all tier 2 colleges these days or with bits. So in this case what i should do basically I have no motivation for going to bits apart from mba degree and bits tag,money wise also I might not get that much which i might get now after switching company but yes bits fees is less. What should I do in this case ? 1.should I go to bits 2. Switch company and try for 1 year programs like great lakes,iim kozhikode BL 3. If nothing happens continue with data engineer role and try for product based In bits they are going to teach same python ,data structures along with some business subjects which i already know .
Ans: First option would be to wait and try for executive MBA course after writing GMAT. Getting into a good college for 1 year MBA through GMAT would be easier than getting admission to a top college through CAT. You could aim for the top IIMs, XL, etc. Simultaneously try to enhance you career by looking for a new company with a better role. You could also continue with your job and field you are in. If you are desperately looking at doing MBA this year then can join BITS.

Ans: There are many IIMs, so getting into them is not so difficult. Try scoring 97+ %ile to get a call and convert some of the IIMs.
