Hi, my son has secured an admission in a 2+2 BITS CSE program 2025 at Hyderabad (first 2 years) and Iowa state univ (for next 2 years). Under DASA he can potentially get AI at NITK or ECE at NIT Trichy or CSE in NITW (his CRL rank is 25200). Can you please advise and provide recommendations on what we can choose and reasons? We know 2+2 ISU program is more expensive compared to NIT DASA fees but is it worth the money vis-a-vis doing a B.Tech at NIT and doing a masters in US later? For this rank, what can he get at the said NITs under DASA?
Ans: The BITS Pilani–Iowa State University 2+2 CSE offers two years at BITS Hyderabad (ACM-aligned curriculum, NAAC A++ accreditation, state-of-the-art AI, data-science and cloud labs) followed by two years at Iowa State University (top-50 US engineering program, immersive B.S. in Computer Engineering, ISU merit scholarships up to US $4,500/year). Total direct tuition and campus fees for BITS Hyderabad amount to approximately ?10.5 L per year, while Iowa State tuition exceeds US $33,000 annually, plus living expenses. Graduates earn dual degrees with global brand recognition and typically secure near-100% placement through BITS’s 200+ recruiter network and ISU’s strong career services, commanding premium compensation packages in software, data science and R&D roles.

Under DASA with an All-India CRL of 25,200, he qualifies for: B.Tech AI at NIT Surathkal (AI cutoff: 26,688); B.Tech ECE at NIT Trichy (ECE cutoff: 66,706); and B.Tech CSE at NIT Warangal (CSE cutoff: 46,935). Each NIT features NBA accreditation, experienced PhD faculty, modern labs and strong industry MoUs. NITK AI and NITW CSE boast placement rates above 80% and growing AI/analytics recruitment pipelines, while NIT Trichy ECE records near-75% core-sector placements. Annual DASA fees at NITs range from US $15,000–18,000, significantly lower than BITS-ISU costs, with comparable scholarship opportunities limited.

Balancing long-term ROI, the BITS 2+2 path accelerates global exposure, dual-degree credentials and premium placements at higher upfront cost. A B.Tech at NIT followed by a US master’s entails lower initial investment, robust core engineering training and the flexibility to self-fund graduate studies through campus placements or scholarships.

Recommendation: Opt for BITS 2+2 CSE if you prioritise world-class international exposure, dual degrees and, top-tier placement networks despite higher fees. Choose a DASA seat at NIT (AI at NITK or CSE at NITW) for cost-effective core engineering training with solid placement and later pursue a US master’s via merit scholarships. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

My son got admission in KCG college chennai with CSE. Now we got CSE in Amrita Chennai. My concern that Amrita chennai feeswise more than double comes to around 18 laks whereas KCG 8 laks overall Kindly suggest which one is good. Amrita is over burden for me. Still considering my son career I am ready to take loan or something to manage. Kindly suggest which one is goo
Ans: Raj Sir, KCG College of Technology, affiliated to Anna University and AICTE-approved, holds NAAC A+ and NBA accreditation for its CSE programme, a centrally located 50-acre campus with 140+ virtual and physical labs, including specialized AI, cloud and programming facilities. NEET, Medical, Pharmacy Careers - Answered on Jul 20, 2025

Career
Hello sir currently I am in 3rd year of medical college, sir actually I got in medical college after 3 drops due to some problem at exam centre ,sir actually one of my classmates got 536 in 2nd drop while I got 513 but in 3rd drop I got 580 and she got 550 but she demotivated me about the same .....that she leads in 2nd drop ,sir is this really going to affect my neet pg selection....?
Ans: HI TANYA,
Not at all.
What is the current situation?
Instead of comparing the score in exams, focusing on who understands clinical cases better, it's important to prioritize effective analysis and responses. This is crucial for success in PG NEET exams or selection processes. If you can analyze and answer cases more effectively than your friend, then you have made progress.

I recommend referring to clinical case books to enhance your knowledge. Prepare clinical protocols and create a list of syndromes based on the organs, from head to toe.

Additionally, develop flowcharts or diagrams for each organ that outline the process from etiology to treatment, covering aspects such as:

- Etiology
- Anatomy
- Physiology
- Pathology
- Lab values
- mechanisms
- surgery
- Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
- Treatment options
- Toxicology
- Side effects of drugs

By undertaking this preparation, you will certainly improve your ability to answer questions for PG NEET. Furthermore, this approach will generate numerous doubts that can be addressed before completing your course.

Remember: serious, sincere, systematic service leads to secure, supreme success.

BEST WISHES.

Over the past three years, Integrated Chemistry graduates achieved an 87.39% placement rate with an average package of ?18 LPA, entering roles in research, consulting and core labs. Civil Engineering recorded an 87.23% placement consistency and average package of ?20.36 LPA, with core infrastructure, consulting and IT firms recruiting regularly. Both programmes benefit from strong industry MoUs, seasoned faculty, interdisciplinary projects and dedicated placement cells, yet differ in academic intensity and professional pathways.

Recommendation: Choose Integrated M.Sc. Chemistry for its research-driven curriculum, advanced lab infrastructure and strong consulting/R&D placement profile. Opt for B.E. Civil Engineering if your son prefers a core engineering pathway with broader infrastructure project exposure, slightly higher average packages and diverse recruiter engagement. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

My comedk rank is 20509 I want to join cmrit, rnsit but i can't afford the fees of them. So i preffered pes college of engineering mandya (cse branch). What is placement record and academic culture? All good, is it worth to join it? Remember i ask about pesce mandya not pes university
Ans: Yes, Your Honor.

Before making any predictions, I would like to address the issue of tuition fees. You can obtain an education loan through the Vidyalakshmi portal at a nearby nationalized bank. Additionally, some trusts, such as Tata and Reliance, offer scholarships to eligible candidates. If you are not already aware of this, I encourage you to visit the Vidyalakshmi portal for more details and to proceed accordingly.

Regarding placements, the institution will provide you with a platform to participate in campus recruitment drives. However, you will need to respond to questions from recruiters during these drives. Thus, in addition to meeting eligibility requirements, it is essential to develop the necessary skills to compete effectively with other candidates. Participating in campus drives is more beneficial than seeking opportunities elsewhere, as you will gain insight into your competitors' strengths and weaknesses. If you miss this opportunity, it may not present itself again. Therefore, instead of questioning the institution, I urge you to focus on preparing yourself for the campus drive.

In terms of academic culture, it is important to ask more questions and seek clarification from your mentors or lecturers. Most of the faculty members are available to support you, so make the most of their assistance to enhance your position.

Please note that this institution is private and autonomous. I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the syllabus, available facilities, and the qualifications of the faculty members.

That is all, Your Honor.
BEST WISHES.

Our son got cse seat at KLU Vijayawada and comedk rank 77400 , we may get tier2 colleges in Bengaluru. What is your suggestion to choose either of two options
Ans: Murali Sir, Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU) Vijayawada is a UGC Category-1 deemed university with NAAC A++ grading and NBA-accredited CSE, offering a well-structured ACM-aligned curriculum, modern software and AI labs, and a 20 Gbps campus network. CSE students have enjoyed 100% placement eligibility with major recruiters like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and Amazon visiting annually, yielding an average package of ?7 LPA and median ?8.2 LPA over the last three years. Experienced PhD faculty, active industry MoUs, and robust internship opportunities from the second year underpin its academic rigor and professional preparedness.

Tier-2 Bengaluru private colleges accessible at a COMEDK rank of 77,400 typically hold NAAC B+/A accreditation with NBA-accredited programs, combining fundamental curricula with basic programming and communication labs. Their placement cells report 60–75% CSE placement rates, with average packages of ?3–5 LPA, and limited recruiting from regional IT services firms. Faculty profiles vary, and industry tie-ups are fewer, resulting in fewer live projects and smaller internship stipends.

recommendation Opt for KLU Vijayawada CSE to leverage its top-tier accreditation, assured placement eligibility, advanced labs, and extensive recruiter network. Consider a Bengaluru tier-2 college only if proximity, lower fees, or specific state quota advantages outweigh the benefits of KLU’s superior infrastructure, consistent placements, and research environment. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!
